Good resiling match. Not much fighting but this is a game you need to have both ❤

It speaks volumes that OBM who was a mediocre fighter in the UFC, goes to another promotion and dominates. Really puts into perspective how much of a talent gap there is between UFC and their competitors

These guys are still incredible athletes, but yeah there are levels

OAM never was a médiocre fighter in ufc, he was good. Idem with Clay Collard, both was in ufc.

OAM’s last loss was to Armen Tsaryukian. He wasn’t that bad of a fighter.
@Mauvaiseodeur11 ай бұрын
@@samsterthehamster312 true! And if i remember correctly his last two loses in ufc was against Gilbert Burns and Arman Tsarukyan, Both ELITES fighters, no shame losing against them.

How do you win a fight by just holding a person down? The American doesn't even look like he had a fight.
@Vault4ce468011 ай бұрын
I actually like both of these contenders. I have no skin in the game here, and by what has become the standard of MMA the "contest" goes to OAM, but I'm going to use this bout as a perfect example of what I'm hopeful can show a surmounting problem with MMA. I believe that myself as well as MANY MMA fans are becoming desensitized to this type of grapple heavy content. I absolutely love the highly skilled grapplers in the game right now, but what we just saw IS NOT a showcase of skilled grappling. There were very few moments that OAM showed the ability to end this fight with his grappling, which I believe is the problem. Sure it's MMA but this is supposed to be a FIGHT, and what OAM did was neutralize the fight and was barely fighting in the process. I'm really tired of grapplers thinking they can hold an opponent to win a fight. IMO all that shows is desperation and fear. Which I believe to be the opposite of what these fighters should be allowed to bring to the ring. I believe that "control time should be limited to the standing position and/or grappling positions that prove to be dangerous. I just want to see true skill and dominance from these contests. I do not mean to take away from all the training these guys do. I respect everyone who has the heart to compete. I just think the organizations need to adjust the judging criteria a bit.

Ya I'm with you. I think the average fan is overly critical of grappling, they just don't want to see any grappling. I love grappling, but agree with you, I love actual grappling, not laying. I know the UFC recently changed their scoring to take away from that type of fighting

No offense, but idk how much that will do, there's a reason he got cut, he couldn't beat top competition. You could argue he's gotten better since then, but he's never gonna be a top 5 guy in UFC he'd be lucky to keep a top ten spot
