You should have detached the snub, left it on the landing pad and that way you had a ride back to your Connie! :)

When you die in-game, after resurrection, it makes an interesting adventure to go look for your dead clone, and stuff you had with you. I flew too close to the ground one night, my Avenger exploded, I lost the armor and stuff I had in the ship, along with my Nox bike. I flew to find my previous, unlucky self, still pitch dark. Located my body with the ship's headlights, grim... The ship was gone, but I got my armor back, and surprisingly, even the Nox was still driveable! it was jetting sparks from the exhaust, but I suppose that was to be expected.

Star Citizen needs more GTA players coming up with looney things like this x When persistance is in, we'll literally have Skyrim with melons rolling around our apartments. Physics man, physics is pog. Though i do wish SC improves the driving physics at some point, they're a bit stiff right now.

The Connie is designed to carry the Ursa Rover for exploration.

As of yet, carrying the Ursa in the Connie is optimal for Bunker missions.

P in the Rover to power down weapons and fold down that turret. The connie can fit it, but the Phoenix variant has a squished cargo bay requiring the turret to fold down. When you raise the bay in this video you can see the shocks compress when it hits the top lol

Not sure if anyone told you, but you can place a beacon and pay someone to come pick you up....you may have to leave the rover but you wouldn't lose all your gear....unless it's a pirate...which...is possible. Welcome to the 'verse!

8:26 haha it's not just a tight fit you can see the entire thing lower on the suspension as the top hit the ceiling good thing that suspension has a lot of travel.

that's why I have never tried doing that with the pheonix, usually things are just seconds from exploding in SC when you see such a thing :D

The Ursa is awesome for exploration, you can carry passengers and it is also pressurized so in a tight spot it is good to have, rather than an open top smaller rover

People are generally pretty fun ingame chat too, dont be afraid to make the game a multiplayer game, even with randoms. I jump on solo and just play with randoms every day, i'd say 99/100 times you have a great experience with nice people.

Second day playing, I rode a hoverbike from Port Tressler down to New Babbage. Missed my target by 60 km, but I survived! Related comment: Connie + Ursa is Mass Effect exploration gameplay. But no bordered maps, no loading screens, and an actual physical ship!!!

Check out BedBananas if you haven't already, they do a similar thing in a tank (which has no gravity generator in it) but on to a planet from orbit! I never dare leave my ship's ramp open while I go fetch a land vehicle. On the very first time I got into the game and ran to my ship, and was about to lift off, I noticed a random guy hitching a ride at the back. He ran away, but just as well he might have intended to jump on me and steal the ship after leaving safe zone. It's a sport for some, or so I was told

You're right. One time I lifted off and switched to a third person view looking back at my character in the cockpit. Only to see another player walk in behind me, draw his sidearm and shoot me in the head. Always close your ship when you leave.

Some jackass in a multi-crew Corsair blew up my newbie ship and tried to kill me. Then he landed nearby. I snuck into his unlocked personnel lift and killed him. :D Then drove his ship home.

You can retract the turret on the rover. Otherwise, it will collide with your ship and potentially break it. When two objects are pushing at each other, they can sometimes vibrate very fast. And the game registers fast-moving objects touching as damage.

In the rover you can turn off the weapons, the turret will then slide down the rails on the side given you more headroom.

@@Wulthrin 1 joystick acts as up/down, throttle forward/back, and strafe left/right. The other joystick is roll pitch and yaw. Then all of the other buttons are just for key binding whatever and however you want. If you look up "Hosas" its very popular for Space flight due to thrusters/gravity opposed to normal atmospheric aircraft where a standard throttle for the left or right hand would suffice.

It also lets you dose your throttle instead of going 100% in every direction. Makes ships feel a lot more controllable, apparently.

people act like Star Citizen killed their parents it's very unreasonable lol any honest comparison of this game & company to triple a studious would show a relatively descent game and a relatively descent gamestudio. they buffed up all vehicles because they were blowing up and getting stuck too much i expect a nerf especiallyu when the racing loops come in for ground and air vehicle. for now the new loop is salvage if im not mistaken.
