Ollie Halsall may not have been the world's greatest guitarist, but he was certainly in the top two. As a founding member of Timebox, Patto & Boxer, Halsall developed a legendary following for his virtuoso guitar playing. He also played with numerous artists, including John Cale and Neil Innes, and was Kevin Ayers' sideman for more than a decade before his untimely death in 1992. One of his most notable credits was as "Leppo" - the 5th Rutle, to which he contributed Dirk's vocal and bass lines.
