This all is why I was bored of Genshin enough to quit it forever, it failed to make me feel attached to and cry the way HI3rd does make me. Otto Apocalypse btw, he's the best written villain I've seen in any form of fiction. He's evil for an understandable reason, and uses absolutely none of the tropes villains use in fiction. And is not evil for a petty reason. He's evil because of self-guilt of being responsible for Kallen's death, the girl who was the only light in his childhood, and is willing to sacrifice anyone and anything if it means even a chance to bring her back from the dead. Even if he has to become a villain to bring her back. Otto feels human, and not feeling like a character in a story written just to be the main villain. He's the first villain I actually cried for out of empathy and compassion for his loss. Despite his acts being unforgivable. I know the pain of losing someone who means so much to me, and the burning wish to have a chance to bring her back. An impossible wish. What Otto did is unforgivable, but without him, humanity would not have the strength to confront Honkai. Without him, K-423 and Theresa would not exist.
