I feel like a child in all of this yet I feel like its something I've known about for many lifetimes. Olokun is definitely my orisha because she has chosen me to be a devotee. When I first heard about her, I went and looked for depictions sometimes seeing male but I always knew in my heart she was female. Great post. Ase!
