Olsen fast fire kiln 1

I'm building an Olsen fast fire kiln from his kiln building book. I had plans to do step by step vids but this is all I got. My 13 year old daughter helped me lay main kiln bricks. It was tons of fun and she enjoyed it as the bricks are so light. I never took a photo of the chimney build. It is separate and not built into the walls. I'll try to take a detailed video soon.
I made this video and wanted to be more detailed as most kiln videos have music and don't show the steps. If you have any questions, comment and I'll try to get back to you. I want you to learn from my mistakes.

hidden are some important details about the transition between lower part (that we saw clearly), and upper part. You skip to "all bricked up" and now we cannot see how the floor of the pottery chamber was constructed. Disappointed with that. Otherwise, nice kiln.

desertbluesman it's 9x9. Blocked by a trick brick you push aside at the end of the firing
