Robin Christopher is so great! She plays Skye with the perfect blend of vulnerable neurosis, misunderstood motivations and odd bursts of strength. Skye is such an interesting character. Her evolution over the years is exciting as she grows from petulant child to a mature, independent grownup. And she always wears her heart on her sleeve which I think is brave, Of course she cannot do anything other than let her emotions runneth over.

Robin Christopher began playing Skye on AMC in 1987 (Skye was 1st played by Antoinette Byron from 1986-1987). RC played Skye on AMC until 1991. (Carrie Genzel played Skye on AMC from 1996-1997) In 1999 RC brought Skye to OLTL (1 epp on AMC in 2000). RC was on OLTL until 2001 then moved to GH in 2001. So, all together RC has played Skye about 12 years, I guess. But the character has been on screen for about 14 years or so years.

So it's been close or over a year since Robin C left General Hospital...and she hasn't shown up anywhere on the silver screen! How could GH let a talent like this get away and why haven't any other soaps snatched her up? One look at this video and they would see what a powerhouse actress she is!

I feel so bad for Skye. She had no friends here and felt so betrayed and alone. Hayley and her didn’t get along that’s true but I thought Junior loved her and adored her.

Junior was crazy about his big sister, Skye and Stuart loved her too. She did stay in touch with Stuart from an episode on GH she mentioned that she did visit Stuart's art studio in Pine Valley. She still referred to him as Uncle Stuart, so she was still in contact with the Chandlers.

@jaymelq No Skye was NEVER given a DNA test..at all. She never had 1 2 compare her DNA w/Adam. She never had 1 2 compare her DNA w/Rae. She never had 1 2 compare her DNA w/Alan. I've always held onto hope that meant she was Adam's..but now that DC's left & Alan's been dead..ugh. There were rumors 4 a while that she was to end up being a Cassadine..what w/her relationship w/Luke etc. That might have been interesting but she left..she's back now tho & who knows if her paternity will be brought up.

@Ihateu2btoo Yeah, the wrong names were on that Bible page...Rae was adopted though so her last name wasn't Fargate...I think it started with a 'W' for some reason...Her first name not being Gretal on the page didn't so much bother me as the last name not being right... I don't believe they ever listed the actual name of the child on that Bible page though... it was listed as 'Baby Chandler' or 'Baby Girl Chandler.' The whole Bible page part of the SL always bugged me...

@soapdeity Thats true. And ill go back to watching daytime when RC is back as Skye and they fix that Chandler Q mess....Shes a Chandler through and through. The wrong names were on that stupid Bible page Rae had anyway. If it was that official wouldn't the names on the Bible page be Gretal-Rae Fargate and Antoinette Patterson-Chandler since those were both their legal/ birth names ? It made no sense at all. Though I liked Rae as her mother I could never believe that she wasn't Adams child.

They retconned Skye's family tree just to give a storyline to the Linda Dano character who nobody cared about.

That's true, but I feel like they probably wouldn't have brought Skye back/had her go to GH without it. Since this SL kind of wanted her to somehow still turn out to be Adam's daughter. And when it was revealed on gh that she wasn't Alan's daughter, I thought maybe, but they just wasted RC, and then she left...

@soapdeity You are right. I forgot about Rae being adopted. Washburn or something like that, my mom would remember. I always thought the bible page said Skye Chandler but maybe that was just b/c of how Todd Manning read it. I guess I was wrong or it was a massive boo boo on the part of the writer b/c Skye is no idiot, not to mention she was looking for any excuse for it not to be true and she would have realized ' hey there thats not even really my name'. Oh well the soap world may never know

@jrchandlerfan 2.0 It was an episode of GH the time when Edward Q died and she returned for Edward's funeral. She and Carly got into a fight at Kelly's. She mentioned to the bartender that she had been back to Pine Valley. Of course that is the same episode when she got mixed up with Blair, Todd and Tea from OLTL.

Skye's biological father was never revealed. She was previously adopted by Adam Chandler and then Alan Quartermaine (after it was revealed she was not his biological daughter).

@@soapdeityIIRC, Rae got pregnant while in college, and it was later revealed that she had relations with not only Alan Quartermaine, but with Tony Jones as well. So it's possible that Tony COULD be Skye's father.
