Blair was always scheming on Todd as much as she loved him, she hurt him a lot.

In the later years she was always very self-righteous about Todd and saying he hadn't changed but yet she lied about her babies parentage, and by doing that she caused a lot of this.

They hurt each other a lot. Both such damaged people. He did some rotten things to her over the years and vice versa.

​@@debb481id say blair caused so much if their problems. Todd treated her like gold while she liked him a lot asmitted she was very attracted to him & told him good a lover he was. I dont get how she thought after wasting 4 months lying about starr & when she finally told dorian " i want to get back w/ my husband & tell him im pregnant " it worked out perfectly. No lies got her an emerald engagenent ring. Married her & had 5 min of happiness b/c todd never should have stayed in Ireland. Then of all people she stalked patrick when she had a pemature infant her company & the sun chased some loser w/ no ambition was in love w/ marty & the writers just angered everyone writing kdps pregnancy in. Todd had to sadly watch blair be pregnant was refused access to starr so blair had the nerve to be mad he filed for custody b/c he was told over & over hed never see starr again. So when dorian sued for custody & lost blair tried it & lost than sobbed to todd about " my little girl" ff to this horrible max lie kelly being dorian jr barging in to the penthouse on their talks at st annes now dorians which todd bought for starr. Blair s stupid test is so crazy prove u can love maxs baby when its urs & why ur in agony she constantly does this. Also why after todd fought max b/c blair let him kiss her which skye set up for todd to find. Literally the migjy b4 her wedding to todd after that she agrees to a champagne toast where max drugs her. Why even have this toast at all?? Plus shes off the hook of prison b/c of todd theirs zero reason to lie. But todd had to pass a test. Omg i know the dead baby lie was terrible but blair never looks at her part or stopped being treated like a child by her family. Blair never butted in on kellys life w/ all her men. Blair & her stupid lies not only hurt todd but also starr. Her chiod is suffering b/c shes pushing todd max calls her child a demon & she doesnt get it. Threatened a 7 year old shed g9 to prison. If todd raused those kids starr & jack would have been very different.

And he also did very hurtful things to her as much as he loved her: from the threat of rape to the DBL and the Mafia scam. But what I love most about this couple is that, in spite of it all, they keep trying and they end up in love and married when Todd's story ends in 2013. Still so much love between them that neither time nor a lot of conflict and pain ever erased.

@@nattyps3160 Todd refers to Blair as ** '"the perfect woman" and proposes to her a total of 8 times! " You're the only right thing I've done in my life.", he says. He seems to forgive her even if you don't. He pursues her over and over. He hardly even sleeps with other women, just Tea very briefly and Carly very briefly. TnB end up together at the end of Todd's story; remarried and very much in love. They've done rotten things to one another but they get each other and forgive. And Starr turned out to be a well adjusted, loving, productive woman in spite of the fact that Todd was not around for many important years of her life. She dearly loves Blair. Jack, as Todd points out, is the child and grandchild and nephew of villains. Genetics are a strong possibility as to why he turned out as he did.

We often get reminders of the love between TnB even when they're angry. In this scene, Todd oozes love when speaking of watching Blair while she's sleeping. Her love is obvious, too. Frustrating to watch them hurt each other at the same time. On a similar note: "Your parents don't need a potion. They are already in love." That voodoo woman that Starr hired really knows what she's talking about!!

Yes. The answer is that Blair never knows when Todd will turn on her. He has kidnapped Starr in the past and kept her from Starr twice recently. He's also recently betrayed her re: Max's shooting and then tried to frame her for Asa's "murder". She should not have lied but it certainly wasn't mainly about testing him. Mistrust is a major issue on both sides of this couple and, throughout her pregnancy, she's often mentioned her fears.

kashiera sims I agree.... How can she expect him to accept someone else's baby.... He said he wants it to be his (which tells her he would not take the baby) but she's not hearing him as usual. What is her problem anyway. And of course then there's Kelly (Dorian). When is Blair going to grow up. Sometimes I hate the writers.

He betrayed her recently, after Max's shooting, and he has kidnapped Starr, he has also pursued framing her for Asa's "murder". Plus, he threatened her with rape and bruised her in the process. Why would she trust him when she knows what he's capable of when angered?

I mean Blair was always scheming and telling likes but she was Todd’s Karma even though she’s the reason he changed most of his ways but Todd did a lot of bad things in his past.

Thats a great point. Its like blair was karma for marty. Nora i get him stalking her was horrible but he had a right to be furious. Nora was his lawyer & she caused a mistrial. I also dont think he was ever going to rape her. It seemed he just got off on torturing her. Maybe their blindness made it more fun. Rebecca was a mess but her & the kids his future neice & nephew cj & sarah all standing up for him w/ the govenor humanized todd a lot. Also he had a great therapist in ray martino in prison & his conditional pardon. Whats so so sad is todd fell so in love w/ blair i think as soon as their first time. Blair was already really hurting his feelings. She used him b/c she & cord had a fight & after months of being friends blair dropped him. Todd showed such growth when blair & cord again broke up they went bar hopping but todd told her how hed invest in melador if he had any money. Addie literally was smarter than blair telling her not to fake a pregnancy b/c she reminded blair now that she learned todd was the lord heir that " todds ur friend u said blair he said hed help u " the truth is blair didnt just want start up $$ she wanted a home & pay addies bills ( which dorian was paying ) plus she wanted half probably planned to divorce him & im guessing planned a fake miscarriage. How was she gonna explain their first child being 6 weeks late. That must be why on their wedding night she tried to use her birth control. Todd called her out b/c hello if ur pregnant why use b.c. ? Then i hated how todd was beyond reasonable asking for a pregnancy test. Blair didnt know she was pregnant & when she was she had the nerve to tell him to get out how horrible he was listening to tina & going to asa. Who wouldnt when ur claiming to be pregnant got married by manipulating todd shed tell cord it was his. She knew todd was into her bad & had nobody & 5 sec after they married tina told him he was worth 30 million. She was pregnant married & hitting on cord which made todd get wasted & said something he didn't mean like she probably wishes she had terminated his baby. Then she tried to run to cord but saw him hugging tina so ran back to todd. Whos only support when blair lost the baby were sadly vikis alter tori for her agenda w/ todd & of all people marty b/c todd was suicidal. Then he & blair get close b/c ge treated her like a queen was patient about even sleeping together again he told her how much he wanted another one & was again so patient that she could take all the time she needed.

@@nattyps3160Todd treated Blair like a queen for a very short period of time before her first lies came out. But, since Tea dumped him, Todd has wanted Blair back. Instead of rejecting her because of her past lies, he's kept chasing her. She is his choice in a woman almost entirely from mid 2000 on. They gravitate toward one another partly because of their similar flaws. Todd is a villain and Blair a con artist. ( I do love their crazy, soapy dynamics; especially their continued love despite the hurtful stuff they do to one another.)
