You can't have the ADA and EBEN insignia and look not to follow the Benin/Edo part of the tradition of having the Isekiri or Edo born for the king in Isekiri land, it won't happen!

@Oluwatishe You're very stupid. Oduduwa was a Benin Prince. There was never a broken line of Kings from the Ogiso Era into the Oba Dynasty. Oduduwa introduced the Ada and Eben to Ife as a Benin Prince. Ogiso Ere introduced the Ada and Eben. Itsekiri is very distinct from Yoruba. I speak Yoruba fluently. And you can't understand anything in Itsekiri except you learn the language. Benin people were the founders of Itsekiri Kingdom. Prince Ginuwa was the founder. The Oba of Benin is not of Yoruba origin. Stop capping rubbish.

@Oluwatishe Your Yoruba history says that Oduduwa learnt Yoruba language. He was never a Yoruba man. The question is, where did Oduduwa come from? From the sky or Mecca? You people are confused. Benin already had a civilization and monarchy spanning over 800 years before the birth of Oduduwa. Why will an established people go to Ife to seek for a King?! How did Oduduwa understand the Chiefs, led by Oliha, that came to bring him back to Benin? First, the chiefs didn't come for Oranmiyan. They came for Oduduwa and he was too old to return, so he sent his son Oranmiyan. Oduduwa has no meaning in Yoruba language. Benin people bear names like Oduwa, Izoduwa, Uwa, Adesuwa, etc. Show me one single Yoruba influence in Benin! Tell me a single Yoruba influence. Our language is very different. Our culture is different. Our Arts is very different. We have nothing in common. Instead, you stole from us and claimed it's yours. Ada and Eben was never of Yoruba origin. Show me how Ada and Eben came into being. Oduduwa introduced Ada and Eben to Uhe because he was from Benin.

@Oluwatishe You're very stupid. Obatala has nothing to do with Oba. Benin Kingdom is not 5 local government. Benin Kingdom is the whole Edo State and almost all parts of Delta. Those other Kingdoms were founded by Benin people. I'm asking, where did Oduduwa come from? How did the Oduduwa dynasty come into being? Please answer me. Benin have been worshipping Olokun since time immemorial. Before the birth of Oduduwa. The word for King in Edo language is not Oba but Ogie. Oba means to shine bright. The meaning of Ogiso (Ogie no ri so rie) means the King that came from the sky. That's why when they asked Oduduwa where he was from, he said he was from the sky. The change to the Oba dynasty was just a change in name. It was the same lineage. It showed that there was a new dawn after an interregnum. Oba in Edo language means to shine bright. Omo N'Oba N'Edo means the child that shines bright on the Edos. Oba was never a Yoruba word. It is indigenous to the Benin people. Lamogun is the salutation for the royal family. It mean La Umogun. The Oba of Benin is called Iyare Umogun. We don't have Ifa in Benin. Ogun worship was a borrowed tradition most likely introduced by Oranmiyan when he came to Benin. Now, Benin transcend beyond Edo South. Benin is a Kingdom of various Kingdoms. The Esan Kingdoms were Benin Kingdoms till the British came. Urhobo, Owan, Etsako, Ika kingdoms all pay homage to Benin because they are Benin people. There was never anything called Yoruba kingdom. You're most likely from one village in Osun State. The original owners of Ife were the Ugbo people. You know nothing. You Yorubas don't have a consistent history. Just lies and rubbish.

@Oluwatishe You're very stupid. Which territory did Oranmiyan capture in Benin? The word for King is not Oba in our language. It is Ogie. The Esan dialect call it Ojie. Oba was an appellation from Omo N'Oba N'Edo. Which means the child that shines bright on the Edos. It was a title given to Eweka I when he became King. Oba doesn't mean King in our language and no where in Yoruba history did they call anybody Oba of till centuries later. What is the meaning of Obatala? It has nothing to do with Oba. You haven't answered my question. I asked, where did Oduduwa come from? I also asked which Yoruba touch do we have in Benin? You're really confused. You don't use population to exert your Authority. The Benins took many of you Yorubas as slaves and even conquered Lagos where we sold you to the Portuguese. At no point in history was there Yoruba empire. We only had Oyo which couldn't even dream of equaling the might and strength of Benin. You keep dodging my simple question. Did Oduduwa come from the sky or Mecca? Did Oduduwa learn Yoruba language when he came to Ife or not? You can't answer because you're confused like your historians. The Yorubas never conquered any Benin territory. And they never could have dreamt of it. Then how exactly did Oranmiyan conquer us? We went to meet our Prince, Izoduwa to come back to Benin and he sent his son Oranmiyan because he was an old man already. We know our history. The Yorubas are confused about Oduduwa origin. They are even more confused about his children.

@Oluwatishe What is the meaning of Oba gha to kpe ree in Yoruba language? You're confused. In many monarchies, they always say "Long live the King" or "May you live forever Oh King." I said earlier that the original word for King in Edo language is Ogie. That was why the first dynasty was called Ogiso. Oba is an appellation from Omo N'Oba N'Edo. As time went on the word became conversant and over time replaced the original word which is Ogie. The word Oba in Benin can only be bore by the Oba of Benin. Other Kings in Edo go by the title Enogie, Onojie, Ogieneni, etc. It means Oba is a very distinct title to distinguish Omo N'Oba from other Ogie. That is, he is King of Kings. How does "Oba gha to kpe ree" enter into Yoruba lexicon? It is not the same as "Oba a pe laye" in Yoruba.
