So true. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and wearing these fixes the problem. The high arch also helps them stay in place while walking. I'm totally in love with them. I've had them for over 6 years, now and they are still in perfect condition. They're simply amazing!

These are the Merrells of FlipFlops! Mine are 3 an a half years old now and have been worn more than anything I own. They actually still look new and have been extremely durable compared to the Reefs and Cobians I used to be huge fans of. I never considered these before because they are 2-3x the cost of the previous mentioned filpflops, but they gave me instant relief from my Plantars Fas. when I was walking around RonJons testing all of the filpflops. They feel stiff at first but they mold to the contours of your feet instantly and get even better with time. I switch them out only with my Croc flip flops, (also awesome for Plantars Fas.) but that is usually if i'm planning on going to the beach/pool (wet locations) because I try to keep the Olukais looking as new as I can. They have been in sand and salt water a handful of times though and I just made sure to rinse them off good with fresh water after. The other thing about Olukai's is they have never gotten any bad odors over all of this time and that was a huge problem with my Reefs!

@@Cam-wi3tp Not with this model because the strap is not real leather. It's neoprene under padding stitched to a stiff synthetic fabric on top (looks like leather though). But the straps do not stretch, or if they have over the years it's not been noticeable. They do make an all leather model, that one would probably stretch with time.

These are the worst sandals I have ever worn. The top strap is as sharp as a knife and cuts the top of my foot. Additionally, that arch “support” is remarkably uncomfortable and left my feet sore and I don’t have abnormal feet. Just a size 9 with no foot conditions.
