I am 46 and I am jealous of the Barbie Dream House. I didn't get one as a little kid in the early 80's as they were super expensive. My dad, made model railways and model towns, and I would help him, had the brillant idea of turning a huge 2nd hand bookcase into a Barbie house, and he made with his help of course, make all the furniture, and even rig it up with lights, in a sly way to teach me skills. I mean it was unique and pretty awesome. When I moved into my first house I didn't have the space for it so I donated in to the Children's Home a couple of streets from my house growing up. But I was always a little envious of the actual barbie ones.
