You’re so humble Andy and it somehow makes a former Olympian seem relatable. That’s due to your humility. Respect and well done.

Sorry, it was awful. I’ve no idea what effect they were going for, but late 70’s 8mm look wasn’t great, coupled with an audio mix that veered between unable to hear and blaring background music.

definitely like it! but please don't use audio from the old cameras - its more noticeable next to the well sounded audio from newer camera. but nice feel especially during the running/warm up bits.

Yes, you should definitely keep going Andy, I think there's a lot of runners in our position 40+ that are very inspired to see others in the same age group having success, and I really believe there with enough focus in this area, we can fine tune everything to be competitive ,with athletes in their 30's and late 20's ... things to consider: do add in plyometrics whilst preparing for events to make the muscles more explosive like the younger athletes. Eat a low inflammation diet, like a whole food plant based diet. , keep up your weightlifting, train more.. maybe mix in some elliptical with no handles when your body is sore or strained. and perhaps buy yourself a lactate meter and control your threshold sessions for like.. less than maybe 3.5 mmol lactate... even maybe add in double days like jacob. in that case controlling lactate for 3 or less may be better.

Brilliant. Be well proud of that sir. I'm more into 21-50k distance, but did do a 1k solo max pace run a few weeks ago whilst out doing an interval session. I managed 3:38, so you're safe for now, lol, but at 57 and having never done much speed work at all, I weirdly loved the buzz of such a short, all-out pelt down the road. I kinda get it now :)
