Olympic champion Petra Vlhova was in dominant form in Finland in the opening World Cup race of the season. The Slovakian, who finished in third place last year, held off competition from Germany's Lena Duerr who she beat by 1.41 seconds to claim gold medal. The 28-year-old led the way after the first run with a blistering time of 53.79, which she followed up with a second run of 56.80.
