When a sequel comes out four years later and manages to be worse than the original game in every single way... thanks, Tiertex!

Have you done California games on the Lynx? Thats the best ver imo

Have you done Olympic Summer Games on the Genesis and 3DO, Sydney 2000 on the PS1 and Dreamcast, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games on the Wii, Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games on the Wii and Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on the Switch?

I dominated so hard in Barcelona 92 that I still feel the effects of it to this day. (I lost my right middle and index finger to that game.)

Olympic Gold: Barcelona ‘92, Olympic Winter Games: Lillehammer ‘94 and Olympic Summer Games: Atlanta 1996 were all developed by since-defunct Tiertex Design Studios, with the difference being that U.S. Gold published the first two Olympic video games and THQ’s Black Pearl Software division published this version for the SNES and Sega Genesis, and John Hancock composed the first two Olympic video games (and the PS1/3DO adaptation of this game) whilst Mark Ortiz did the same for this version.

I do like what they did for the intro with the color change throughout the years.

They fucked it up on Genesis tho. It's a lot faster (Blast Processing at work?). Because of this, it goes from B&W to color after Berlin 1936.

Not exactly licensed by the IOC, but if you want a hidden-gem Olympics style game, I would recommend Hamtaro: Ham-Ham Games on the GBA. While the game play is mostly just button pushing at the right moment, it's actually done pretty well and worth looking into.

Yeah, this looks _really_ underwhelming in just about every aspect. And you gotta love how the stadium is just a ghost town. Just the competitors and maybe 3 other people in the background.

Have you ever played this FMV PSone game called "Alive"? I have never seen a full playthrough of it. I only ever saw the game over sequences with colorful game over thumbnails. I still wonder about what the plot was about, why the the police were after this lady, being put on full blast by the news as a wanted person.

I have. It was pretty good, but super hard. I'll take a look. It'll depend on how much work I'd have to put into a translation.
