An evocative tune from a truly seminal time! Loved this back then as well 'Liberation - Liberation' and the other piano laden tracks! Belgian Techno, late New Beat, original Acid 303 bangers, Italo House, Trance, Rave whatever!! I have journeyed through the years listening, but so many styles I would not listen to now. The original and proper 'Old School' will never die in my heart! Hence why today I still listen and love! HITACHI 3D Super Woofer to listen to your mixes while kicking a football, crate digging for records before the digital age! Making your own mixes and recording on to cassette. Purchasing your favourite DJ's mixes from whatever event?? Wonderful days indeed!!🙂😍😉!!

Yassss! 👏 … cassettes & taping our mixes & bootleg tapes. Press Record and play on the stereo at 2am (or was it 3?) to record the essential mix.
@iaindouglasmcwilliam8684 Жыл бұрын
@holeintheleg I'm sure it was 2 am. There were so many excellent proper DJ's with some banging sets in the 90's. I can always remember a Laurent Garnier one (he did a few) but have never found it. My friend had recorded it, and on this particular one there was a tune that still to this day I have never heard since. About 15 yrs ago, I considered buying the essential mix collection as it was available for sale (officially I'm sure) and would have had every mix from the beginning up til 08 at the time. I kinda wish I'd decided to buy it...but I didn't. Ps, what I meant by proper is that you will know that back in the day DJ's didn't bounce about, throw their hands in the air, pre record their sets and kid on they are in the mix. They were far too busy with their vinyl and would be fully engaged in actually building the journey for your mind live. Yeah they were the best of the times!
