I wish Simone well! I think America is so used to winning that they expect it. Some other countries don’t win like we do. Silver is still a win. Simone has brought so many medals as it is. She is still a hero! Last year was the hardest year for me, the fact that athletes could train through that? That is a win in itself. Silver is still a win. When people commit suicide, we wonder what happened but when people take time to heal and practice wellness, we criticize them. Thank you for the positive take on Simone Biles. I am disappointed that so many people are turning on her and not asking her how she is.

Following this story I learned Simone had something called "Twisties", know to Gymnasts as a condition that occures in the brain during the routine where the brain becomes scrambled & looses the muscle memory developed when training using cues to tell the brain where the body is. Any other athlete would of injured themself. The force & speed required of their body can result in breaking bones, neck, back. these routines gone wrong can kill them.
