If you want another "easy to replicate" challenge try 25m sport pistol. The rapid fire portion is shot with .22LR on a single target at 25M with one hand and you get three seconds to go from low gun (gun 45 degrees angle down) start to firing. The scoring is based on hit/miss. This is also a good drill if you want to shoot CMP .22 Excillence in Competition since timed and rapid fire is shot with a low gun start.

Thank you for trying this! I have a few videos on 25M rapid fire on my channel including a couple breakdown videos of the anti-recoil system found in the model used as well as some shorts of doing it indoor. I made and will post a Google drive up for the reduced target I use to shoot this indoor (it’s at 2M)

Very open-minded video. Thanks for posting!

Apples and Oranges! Two different disciplines, the emphasis on Bullseye is "Precision Accuracy" action shooting is emphasized towards TIME and hits on target. Both are challenging however, Shooting for Accuracy is much more difficult to achieve. "Speed is fine ,but ACCURACY is final"!

Username checks out :) I agree, the 15m air pistol event is all about accuracy. But I didn't have the equipment to replicate that, so we did our best to replicate the 25m Rapid Pistol Event (which is all about speed with acceptable accuracy). A hit is a hit and a miss is a miss in 25m rapid pistol.

It was a blast, I recommend everyone try it! It can be replicated at any indoor range that goes out to at least 10 yards with 8" pasters.

@@crackshot-tv cool I just happen to look on the App Store and found a bunch. They seem to be pretty good not collecting your data as well so I’m gonna try them. Thanks.

Yes. One is a real gun, and the other is an airgun.

The Olympics 25m rapid pistol event uses 22LR pistols as well. The 10m air pistol event doesn't, but that's why in the video we replicated the 25m with a 22 pistol. That said, the olmpics guns are nearly $3-5k. This is a $400 TX22 with competition slide.

@crackshot-tv Sorry, I didn't mean try a duty pistol to do this same thing. I should have been more specific. Try the Service Pistol discipline. It's the style done in the Civilian Marksmanship Program at Camp Perry. Known as the President's Hundred match. It involves 50 yard bullseye shooting, single handed.
