Welcome to #Gangwon2024! The 4th Winter Youth Olympic Games will take place in the province of Gangwon in the Republic of Korea, which already hosted the Olympic Winter Games #PyeongChang2018. These are the first Winter YOG to be held in Asia and will build on the Olympic Games legacy and engage even more young people through various activities before, throughout and after the Games.
There are 15 sports taking place (Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, Cross-Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle Skiing, Ice Hockey, Luge, Nordic Combined, Short Track Speed Skating, Skeleton, Ski Jumping, Snowboard & Speed Skating) across nine venues, and you can enjoy the action both on KZbin (limited coverage) and Olympics website (all available events).

I was a volunteer staff of the Gangwon 2024 Through this event, I enjoyed a lot of positives and hadn’t any regret for working in this field If I hadn’t applied for this job, then it could have been my bigger one than the PyeongChang 2018 that were held in my own country Thanks to the Gangwon 2024, I had interested in the Olympic fields and would like to go to the other competitions. Strongly let’s hope to be in the Milano Cortina 2026 or LA28❤

for 2018 the ceremonies were supposed to take place in the alpensia jumping park but switched to a temporary arena. for the YOG they wanted to hold the opening ceremony at the alpensia, but plans changed again.
