The fact that he’s so much shorter than boot and able to keep pace like that is insane
@LoveLifetotheLivest2 жыл бұрын
Physically, shorter sprinters are at more of an advantage than taller ones. One of the reasons that most track fans were enamored with Bolt was because someone that tall shouldn’t be that fast, he has the ideal physique for a distance runner but excels at the shortest Olympic race; he’s an anomaly.
@burtan20002 жыл бұрын
@@LoveLifetotheLivest Tall runners are faster even in sprints but it takes them longer to get up to speed. Bolt's anomaly (other than a ridiculously fitting name) is that he's able to explode of the line like a small dude and get to his top speed very quickly
@natdizzle42592 жыл бұрын
Look at his legs tho there waists are the same height
@LoveLifetotheLivest2 жыл бұрын
@@burtan2000 speed is usually quantified by being able to get to your top speed in the shortest amount of time. The fastest roller coaster in the world isn’t actually the fastest it just gets to it’s top speed (a very fast one) in less time than any other rollercoaster. Shorter runners usually get to their top speed faster than taller runners meaning that shorter sprinters are faster and making a short race like the 100 ideal for someone with de grasse’s physique and not bolts. Hope that makes what I said more clear, what you said didn’t negate my explanation it was just a different way of saying that shorter sprinters are faster. Edit: there are also other reasons for why shorter races are ideal for shorter people, this is a KZbin comment section so not the place to explain them all :)

It so contagious these smiles, the Canadian guy is not envious, it is a different feeling, like admiring a rival and proud of himself to be able to get too close him. This reminds me of the enthusiasm and joy that Goku showed when he met someone stronger than him, because in the end he knew that it would push him to surpass his limits, the world needs more of this vibe.

De Grasse and his coach did this to try and wear Bolt out in this semi final. That's why Bolt wags his finger at him. He knew what he was doing. But it made Bolt angry enough that he won the final and took home the Gold. Every single comment misinterpreted this video. Usain Bolt was angry with De Grasse after this semi final race. He continued full speed at the end and you're supposed to slow down. That was their ploy to tire him out for the final. Didn't work.
