@@johand6407 There are only some 200-300 indoor tenniscourts in Denmark. Tennis is a VERY TINY sport in Denmark. In nearly all "normal" sportshalls with room for a handballcourt, there will also be prepared for 5 badmintoncourts ( with lines, holes for netpoles etc ). In many smaller villages ( including mine! ), there is not a full handballsize hall, but still smaller halls with room for badminton courts ( in my village two courts ).

Victor is tall and that is a huge advantage. The problem with tall players is that they are slow on their feet but Victor has trained enough to move as quick as any normal height player so now he has no tall player weakness but all their strengths. That height is especially advantageous in Badminton.

I always favour players who are against Alexen. Maybe it is because he has some natural advantage over others. Enjoyment ends when he dominates over other players.
@abgamer68004 ай бұрын
ofc his height poses a great advantage but with huge height there are many problems which come along like slow trunk rotation lower body instability , greater risk of injuries and heighted player have problems while defending actually its not that he just has natural advantage but also many disadvantages which come along he had worked on his shortcomings in previous years thats why he is dominating now even Lakshya said that when he went to training camp with him he was shocked after seeing the intensity of his training
@neerajaggarwal46894 ай бұрын
@@abgamer6800 I'm not saying that he has not done the hard work. Of course he deserves the success he has achieved. I'm just saying that the game doesn't remain enjoyable when he is in the game. Most of the points come from his ability to reach at any location quicker than his opponent and smash shots from the back of court. It doesn't remain a game of mind and tricks when he is dominating. The opponent spends his energy in just defending the smashes and trying to target edges(which seems impossible). It is like having an adult competing with kids in a poem reciting competition. Of course, he will need to try hard to become cute which naturally comes to a kid. But he will have other advantages as compared to kids. Overall, it would be very difficult for that adult, maybe even more difficult than a kid. But the public is not there to see who won the competition. They were there to see the cuteness. Similarly, the game is not about winning. It is about the magic one performs in the court. For me, everything becomes pointless when the game is only a battle to win the points.

Historically huge height has been a massive disadvantage for badminton, he has utilised its strengths so well that they outweight its weaknesses
@b.j.g59494 ай бұрын
If height was such a big advantage, all the top players would be tall. It’s not a coincidence so many basketball players happen to be tall. Height brings weight which reduces speed. You have to figure out how to perfectly play to your strengths and remove as much of your weaknesses. You have to remember the true scale of sports like this, there are so many people who compete that if a particular physical attribute helped you dominate, you would see it at the top.
