Thank you for uploading. Shoma is simply a unique figure skater. I love him very much and for me he is simply the best, even though he never won an Olympic gold medal. Nevertheless, he is the best figure skater for me and he is simply a wonderful person.

What a treat watching Shoma, Yuma and Nathan again, three excellent athletes in the most difficult of sports! Love them and their great SP, each so different from the others. Nathan Chen is captivating with his effortless grace. Athletes and audience wore their masks, a reminder of the pandemic time.

Why the instant technical score display the country skaters represent, not their names? As if this is the team competition not individual competition.

I hate it that they made these athletes put on masks when they were still breathing hard from their performances.

No way Uno should've medaled with that free skate.... The 4 Loop was q at least, 4 Salchow was < and the first 4T was q. The judges pretended not to see the errors obviously

Shoma finished in 5th place in the free (behind Nathan, Yuma, Yuzuru, and Daniel Grassl). The 4S and 4T both got negative goe (so the judges did see those errors). The reason he still podiumed was because Yuzuru fell twice in the freeskate and was 10 points behind him after the sp, and Daniel got low pcs and was 15 points behind him after the sp. Shoma’s beautiful sp really saved him because this was definitely not his best free, but he had enough of a lead that he probably would’ve had to fall or pop a couple of his jumps in order to miss the podium. Yuzuru could have made up the gap had he skated a clean program, but he chose to go for the 4A instead of playing it safe for a medal.
