***** It's very bad for this sport . It may soon be so . That only Norwegians will watch cross-country skiing on television. The effects can already be seen . After 2013 the audience Tour de Ski has fallen almost 50 % from 13 to 7 million viewers. Someone has to stop this because soon nobody will want to watch this. Who outside the Norwegians that excites of 4 Norwegians win and who will be out of the podium ? I like cross-country skiing . But they do not excite me as in 2009-2014 .

After 1st exchange, Poland was 38 seconds behind (25:25). Within ONE kilometre Kowalczyk reduced the split to 18 seconds (29:00). How is that possible to catch 20 seconds over one single kilometre on elite Olympians like Johaug or Longa?
@alialibaba18864 жыл бұрын
In the 2009-10 season Justyna Kowaczyk was in top form - she won the Tour de Ski, 3 medals at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (gold + silver + bronze) and the World Cup (also the Sprint World Cup and the Distance World Cup). During her heyday Kowalczyk was really hard to beat in the classic style. Have you watched her performance at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme ? She did exactly the same. 😲 kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2W4iIKbp9psbpIm10s

DDR - Athletes were systematically doped, many without knowing it. Russia - They dominated a lot early in 90s, and many of the athletes was caught later in the career. Egorova, Danilova, Lazutina were among them. Later a lot of russian athletes (Biathlon and Cross Country) have been caught. Where are the russians now?

The all championship in women's competitions are set. Currently, among the runners, but Petra Majdić dares speak out. And the effects of this can be seen. FIS Secretary General Sarah Lewis threatens Slovenian runners. Arguing that she should not speak about such things out loud. And that harms yourself such comments.

Be careful about throwing out dopingaccusations. But let me get one thing clear. There is no culture in Norway and Sweden for using drugs. If a norwegian or swedish crosscountry athlete is being caught for using drugs, the athlete would be completely frozen out and hated by the whole country. In some other countries doping has been set in system. It's okey for them to take shortcuts to reach their goals, no matter what it costs. Examples: DDR, Finland 2001, Russia last years, Austria...
