Welcome back Mr Stevie I did wonder which equipment you were trying in the absence. Now we know 😊 Great shots of the bikes. Lovely lens.

Thanks. Yeah, a great lens but I still can't believe how expensive it is! I'm just old skool tight with money! There are more try-outs on the way - I seem to be always intrigued by the obsolete kit..... Thanks for watching, as always.

Saying "it's a little bit heavy" is a BIG misunderstanding.. Try next time to walk with Sony A7-IV and Sony 200-600 mm, that's what I have to hold on entire day, it's 3,15 kg. OM-1 and 300 mm f4, is *LESS* than 2kg, it's around 1,95 kg.. it's SUPER SUPER lightweight.

Yeah, I take your point! I guess I've been spoiled by years of micro four thirds use. My previous biggest lens was the Pana-Leica 100-400 and that was less than a kilogram (985g according to the Panasonic website). Thanks for watching and correcting me!

@@stevieb7121 That's the reasons Sony users, complain about wildlife lenses choice. There is not any, comparing to Nikon (price aside..) there's only 100-400 which is old, and lack of internalzooming, there is heavy 200-600 with some other disadvantages (not so fast lens, and not so bright), then there is only Sigma 500 mm f5.6, but you can't put any TC if ever want to, and 500 mm for widllife is average, and then it's only 300 mm GM - even shorter, and more likely to sport photography than to wildlife, and then 400 mm GM and 600 mm GM. Sony is TERRIBLE choice for wildlife, I'd not recommend it to anyone. If I could start from scratch, that would be Nikon or OM System.

@@pentagramyt417 I was a Nikon shooter in the distant past (D300) and was happy with the camera, apart from the size. The Olympus bodies are tiny compared to what was available at the time from Nikon. And I'm a very small person, so it makes a big difference for me.

@@stevieb7121 I also prefer smaller bodies, my hands are not that big, so that would be terrifying to hold Medium Format. If I was only focused on Wildlife, I think, I would definitely invest my money into OM System and their 300 mm F4. For my personal taste, OM System is one step behind perfect flagship camera, they just need to improve video bitrates, add 4k 120 fps, and maybe.. MAYBE give it 5 megapixels more for this tiny sensor. Slighly improve AF, and it's done.
