Hey Matt! I'm using a chest cooler style incubator with a large amount of water at the bottom, heated with aquarium heaters. If my humidity is prefect inside the tubs at 99% based on my bluetooth hygrometer, do I need substrate in the tub at all?

eggs don't have to be on anything, really. Some people put em in a palstic egg holder deal. Personally, mine are directly on a plastic grate (light diffuser panel), which is on top of wet substrate (perilite in may case). Nothing should work if humiditiy is on point, but having something in the tub to make sure is stays that way in that micro environment can't hurt.

Great video. Guess I shouldn't panic yet with my girls. I am breeding for the first time this year. Paired my 2 corns and 2 of my balls. Saw confirmed lock with the corns, but not with the balls. But the balls always stayed very cozy with each other. My corn seemed to get real thick with what looked like ovulation. But... no eggs... yet. But both are looking good and acting normal, so... 🤷♀️

Question: Is it normal that the buyer has to constantly reach out for information on a paid for snake? Such as it not accepting a meal or something going on that could delay them send it. Because right now it’s a little unsettling for me.

Honestly, it would depend. I have plenty that need to shop and gave because weather. One a health issues (buyer aware, but I do need to update him on improved status). It may depend greatly on how many the seller has. I don't send constant updates, just too many babies for that. If a buyer has something they want to know, then I do my best to help them.

Can you see their ribs when they are gravid? I’m noticing this with my 2 females that have had their pre lay.
