The English meaning of is expressed as "praise of the jewel in the lotus", or it can mean "I am in the lotus" as a declarative thought.
Padma means Indian lotus (Nelumbo nucifera) in Sanskrit, and mani means "jewel", the spiritual "jewel" commonly spoken in Buddhism.
The first word aum/om is the sacred word of many religions in India and hum means understanding.
The syllables of this Buddhist Mantra mean that by the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha!
