it's a brilliant piece. From instrumentation to the actual lyrics, perfectly crafted to suit the listening ear. As a kid, I naively didn't listen to it enough but as an adult, I appreciate it more than ever. Thank Nana for putting this together.

Am a Nigerian but back in the days when i was growing up my late dad will always play nana ampadu and other Ghana high life. I so much love the Ghana high life I still listen to them even though I don't understand the language.

Nana died yesterday September 28, 2021. To the future generations he was a solid composer, musician, great storyteller and a good countryman. Grateful to have witnessed this talent! Rest on Nana 🙌🏻

I can say that Ghana's hilife was copied by Nigerians. For many years my dad lived in Nigeria and he saw how Nana was loved there. Seriously, my dad used to tell me how NANA AMPADU used to rule Africa with his music. NANA we love you.

Just listen attentively and u can hear every single instrument used in this lovely song ,this is real music.. and to know that the musicians had to play these instruments live in the studio to be recorded even makes it better ,,Nana Ampadu and his likes will rule forever. Thank you Nana

To me, the current Afrobeats genre being championed by our Nigerian neighbours is nothing more but the modernized version of Highlife music. So our Ghanaian artist should quit dabbling around, make a conscious effort to champion the genre like theirs that it is and strive to take it to different heights like our the Nigerians are doing.
