thanks for sharing this. i watched and decided to give the empty quarter a miss. i ended up finding some small sand dunes on the road to Sur and climbed up them. Yep was knackered very quickly and the wind made the dunes unbearable so did camp just packed up and moved on. I’ve only ever managed once to see the stars as brilliant as your video that was in Morocco

Thanks for watching. Yes, so many amazing things to do and see in Oman. Could easily go back and spend another 4 to 6 weeks there (and that wouldn't even include Musandam!).
