I'm locally from Al Ain city, I was watching the Asian cup finals at our home stadium against Jeonbuk FC. It was a devastating loss to the whole city... I cried sitting on my chair and it even hurts more to see Omar himself about 20 meters away from me crying much more. I really doubted it when it wasn't him who took the penalty we have won during the second half. it should have just been him... It still haunts me till now... I believed that it was his year to be a legend forever as the top player of asia for decades with an asian champions league win, but no, he just got the asian player of the year, which is great but just not enough. sure there are other asian players who have played in huge clubs in europe, but he will always be the most valuable player when it comes to skill and game knowledge for me. I think he still has a mission to do something for our local club, I don't think he is ready to leave without an asain cup although he have some paper work permits for a couple of years now walling his transfer possibilities with other clubs I think after tasting defeat of an asian final his mind might change, money was never a thing for him, and fame... I think he already has an enormous amount of that for an arab-asain player... he never cared about those stuff He loves the city as much as pirlo loved Juve. He is in the top 3 arab players for me with Salah and Mehrez in it. I talk too much bye.
