Dude, I watched like 5 different videos on this subject - and they all had more views than your video - but YOUR video was BY FAR the BEST video and the most concise and informative one that I found! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I also love your love for Christ! Thanks again for teaching me in a way that I understood! Do NOT give up - because I can assure you - as a hardcore KZbin connoisseur - you have the GIFT of teaching! And your video BLEW away the competition! God bless you, sir!

Holy crap. Thank you thank you thank you so much for this video!! I'm a video editor for three weekly hour-long podcasts and they're all multicam episodes. I literally would sit for hours start and stopping the playhead to select the best camera angles and it takes up so much time. This is one of the most helpful videos I've encountered. The info is invaluable and an absolute gamechanger for me. Once again, thank you.

Thanks for mentioning that this multicam clip (before making a new sequence from clip) is the one where we can make color grades and the audio compressors etc . thanks a lot for explaining these extra little nuggets no ones talks about.

This has considerably changed our workflow for our worship and sermon videos! As a Pastor of a small church, I've been editing WAY more videos since COVID and time is so valuable. We've done the past 2 weeks using this technique. Thanks for all your help! Game Changer for us for sure!

Hey young man, Thank you for sharing what God has gifted you with. I started working with video in 1980 at our church, Phoenix First Assembly, Arizona. Video production has come so far and we have all learned so much. I have been out of media ministry for about 15 years, but now i am back in, doing a Video podcast for ministry to men, three cameras' and a zoom recording for each. you have so helped me get back on the cusp of editing with Premiere Pro. Love Multicam editing! Thank you so much, May God bless you for your sharing!

Thanks so much for such a clear explanation! I've used PS CC for photography only. I never work with videos. My husband needed something for work, so I downloaded the trial of Premiere Pro. I got our 2 angle video synced with no problem because of your excellent instructions. You're a great teacher. Have a blessed day. :)

Ive been using Ai and Ps for 20 years now and would say I am completely fluent in them. Only in the past few years have I had to get into Pr and I keep my distance because it is super overwhelming and seems to bear resemblance to the others only by the Adobe name. This video opened a whole new world for me... Thank you!!

So if you play back and then make an adjustment if you don’t make adjustments throughout the rest of the video does it keep the adjustments you originally made after the one you went back to, since you only messed with that one spot or does it then mess with all of the ones after it even if you didn’t decide to change them hope that makes sense

Great video! How do you zoom into 4k footage in a HD multi cam sequence without loosing quality? Dropping the 4k footage in at 100% and then zooming out to 50% does not work (it gets cut).

Omar, this video is very helpful. I watched several other videos on multiple camera angles and were nowhere as helpful as this video. On my fifth video, the video is in a tight place and includes cleaning a Berkey Water Filter System. I set up a second camera to capture a view of the cleaning from the primary angle. This video is making editing a lot easier. I learned I should just role all the cameras through the creation. I did that with the second angle, I stopped and started the primary angle. I guess I will need to set up the primary camera as a sequence and then nest the sequence before I can use the rest of the technique. Thank you for this video. - Don Rimel

Do you have any tips for getting your sequence to run smoothly? I'm editing a sequence that has only 3 cameras and it will start smoothly enough but then start dropping frames etc. for no reason. I have a fast computer with 40GB of RAM so I can't see how hardware could be the issue. I'm sure proxies would help but I would like to avoid that step if I can.
@@OmarEltakrori I'll have to give it a try. Thanks!

Great tutorial .. so with a band or similar or recording someone doing different things in the studio do you need to say record each part all the way through with same audio so synch works or can you have say whole song with say 2 vocal angels and somehow just do say acoustic gtr for 2nd verse but get it to synch still. I tried something with scratch but clearly wasn't loud enough even with gain said it couldn't synch so I want to try one more time. Thank you

Thanks for all the info. One question based on where you left off with the "special tip": after creating proxies and effectively editing with them what is the process of reinstalling or utilzing the original quality video? If we are "converting down" what is the process of converting back up? Is there any danger of replacing/erasing your original source with the poxy?
