السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Brother Omar, I am a revert to this beautiful deen and I had to learn everything I know about Islam, from Salah to Fiqh issues and Arabic and Quran recitation alone and by my own, of course I know now that it was and always is Allah SWT that helped me with everything Alhamdulillah MashaAllah, but I want to let you know that I have now memorized and know by heart several Surah’s including Ayatul Kursi because of your videos Alhamdulillah💜☪️💜. So Allah used you to teach me to recite and learn some Arabic words (from Quran Al Kareem) and I really enjoy to do my Salah especially the ones that I can recite with a sound (and yes I recite both Fatiha and the other Surah’s in your style, but to my knowledge I have to recite not loudly but inside me during the silent recital Salawat I am “singing” and I used to cry and be very sad about not having a place to go with other Muslims, but now over one year later I am actually pleased with my time totally alone with Allah SWT. And I just want to say thank you for posting these recitations and Adhkar etc, I certainly was in need of someone to help me, and you did it, without even knowing. So I’m sorry I didn’t tell you anything until now, but thank you for teaching me to recite The Glorious Quran (Allah SWTa’ala’s beautiful Words, that as a Norwegian with English as my 4th language and Arabic as I am still in a baby-phase of learning that the Quran is so powerful and no you don’t have to be an Arab to know in the heart that this is Divine Speech and The Words of Allah Ta’ala, I love reciting Quran and Adhkar. May Allah bless you eternally, ameen🤲🏻 And MashaAllah Allahumma Barik for your recitations. This dua was narrated in a sahih hadith from Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said to Fatimah: “What could prevent you from listening to the advice I give you? You should say when morning comes and when evening comes: Ya Hayyu ya Qayyum, bi rahmatika astaghith, aslih li shani kullahu, wa la takilni ila nafsi tarfat ‘ayn (O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining and All-Sustaining, by Your mercy I seek help; rectify all my affairs and do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for the blink of an eye).” (Narrated by an-Nasai in as-Sunan al-Kubra (6/147) and in ‘Amal al-Yawm wa’l-Laylah (no. 46); by al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak (1/730); by al-Bayhaqi in al-Asma’ was-Sifaat (112), and others.)❤

Dari Anas bin Malik radhiyallahu ‘anhu, ia berkata bahwa Nabi shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda pada Fatimah (puterinya), “Apa yang menghalangimu untuk mendengar wasiatku atau yang kuingatkan padamu setiap pagi dan petang yaitu ucapkanlah: يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْثُ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِيْ شَأْنِيْ كُلَّهُ وَلاَ تَكِلْنِيْ إِلَى نَفْسِيْ طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ أَبَدًا “Ya hayyu ya qoyyum bi rahmatika astaghiits, wa ash-lihlii sya’nii kullahu wa laa takilnii ilaa nafsii thorfata ‘ainin abadan [artinya: Wahai Rabb Yang Maha Hidup, wahai Rabb Yang Berdiri Sendiri tidak butuh segala sesuatu, dengan rahmat-Mu aku minta pertolongan, perbaikilah segala urusanku dan jangan diserahkan kepadaku sekali pun sekejap mata tanpa mendapat pertolongan dari-Mu selamanya].” (HR.
