Hot 97 as a whole are not great interviewers and Omari tries too hard to sound or speak intellectually and deep. Everything doesn't have to be a reference, dictionary filled convo, or analogy. Just talk!!! It's a radio interview not, a scientific definition of each statement. Hot 97 just let him talk and talk and talk.... Redirect the questions for goodness sake. Cut him off. The long winded responses to each question was so annoying. Omari is handsome, but he always comes off as , he's all that. He sort of comes off as if he feels everyone should like him and think like he thinks or he doesn't like you. This was a Terrible interview! 🙄✌🏾

Lol!! I love your vent. For real though, He is a pure artist and can't really expound outside of that realm. In real life, Omari is a poet laureate. He is an amazing painter and all around artist in every aspect of the word. Omari is what you call an intellectual of hiphop. He is a 40 year old man so his interviews will go a bit differently.

April Campbell I understand his thespian attributes. I just feel he should relax and let the words come natural and real. Every convo or interview he does... He seems to be trying to hard to prove he's great. Let the people decide that for you and just be yourself. People are going to like you or hate you. That's just the way it is. He tries too hard to make people like him and respect his talent by overly and unnecessarily having long winded conversation during interviews. It just turns folks away. It's annoying lol.

This is how actors are, especially actors that take a long time to find big success. They are so used to having to impress people and trying to be likable, it becomes apart of their personality. It’s weird. Big actors are some of the weirdest, craziest people ever!!!

That guy Ebro low-key shaded Omari regarding fan treatment. No one's forgotten how Omari dissed that "former fan" when she approached him with his wife. Ebro was saying how he'd reach out to fans or something to that effect. He was taking Omari to school, but O is such a pretentious blow hard, it went right over his head. Or he could've chosen to just ignore it.

Yeah social media allows individuals to get a shot, however if you have politics, haters, jealousy, insecurities etc within a said genre. You may get a shot and someone can block your shot, purely off of hate and or lies. You learn as a man to work through it, when you come from a certain clothe.
