As an African American I just want you to know many of us feel the pull of the motherland in us always...
@diemmarley12177 жыл бұрын
Lordcron what do you mean by "Pull of the motherland?"
@lordcron7 жыл бұрын
What I mean is we feel the spirit and the calling back to Africa. For example I never been to any parts of Africa yet I feel like it's my true home. We feel it pulling us our souls and spirits to come home and to live or at least visit and reconnect. We feel it strongly.....
@diemmarley12177 жыл бұрын
Lordcron wells that's a good feeling to have because the black DNA is the most dominant of all, and I would recommend you to take a DNA test to know which country of Africa is the most affluent in you...perhaps make some African friends from this country that live right here in the USA with us. There is all types of African community in every main US cities based on country of origin...and you will learn a lot about their ways, food, their God(s), their fine ass women, right here in your backyard. That will be a good first step, I would think. My African American friends are like brothers to me by now because we've learned about each other, plus I'm always bragging about Africa and how we have maids and drivers and all that good stuff...painting the perfect picture, but we have crazy issues down there as well...even though I'm so Americanized by now, home is home, it's a calling feeling, and Africa will always be home to melonated people, arabs and a few whites. Africa is the land, but its true jewel is the people.

Can we take a moment to acknowledge the African woman he chose as the lead!? BEAUTIFUL! This is HUGE given the types of women other artists choose as leads. Thank you, O, for doing this for the culture! AND a big shout out to Tango Leadaz for this beautiful choreography! Authentic Afro-Caribbean moves. Love it!
@loyisokhoali95117 жыл бұрын
Krista Mone' not Afro carribean, it's Zulu choreography
@KristaMone7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to clarify! The Zulu dancers were doing Zulu dance. Omarion was doing a blend of popular dancehall and African dances choreographed by my good friend @tangoleadaz. You should check out his Instagram page and read his commentary on his work/inspiration for this piece.
@jamishapicou26497 жыл бұрын
Krista Mone' I was just about to comment that! you took the words right out of my head. I don't have anything against any other ethnicity, I believe we're all beautiful but it is nice to see a black man lift up these beautiful black women and actually feature them as leads In his video
@KristaMone7 жыл бұрын
Yes! I know Tyga got a lot of flack for his One Of One video. Shot the entire video in Jamaica and chose a European looking woman as lead. I've got absolutely nothing against European women, but if you're going to borrow heavily from a culture for the song and video...well you get my point! Lol
@KristaMone7 жыл бұрын
Jada, I apologize if my comments sounded racist or were offensive. My intention was not to do so. I'm in the entertainment industry. Comments against people of color are made regularly. People are literally denied roles because they are too dark skinned or too "ethnic/urban." My intention was to highlight the fact that a woman of color was selected as the lead when so many have been denied roles simply because they are women of color.

Precious Mthembu My mom is from Alabama and my dad is from Mississippi so my ancestors likely came to the US as slaves from Africa. Consequently, I do not know where I am from in Africa, however, many people say I look Nigerian. I always love those compliments the most! I admire you greatly!

This is very good Omarion! we need more people of African descent to go back to the motherland, especilly alot of African americans. It is really dope to see him collab with Zulus, especially since they are of the most historical ethnic groups in Africa for warriors and kingdoms. Big ups to all people of African descent around the world, Im African american and I have been back to west, east, and south Africa and let me tell you if you go back you wont regret it! I talk about Afro-History on my youtube to, check it out King and Queens. 1love to all are people around the world, from the americas, to europe, to asia, back to the motherland.

Afric Network american not come from the zulu my dear Africa is big a lot of afro american come from the Mandingo empire
@JustYohannes7 жыл бұрын
I never said they did queen, we did not only come from mandika we can from other ethnic groups in west africa and depending on what country you are talking about in the americas. In the brazil alot of the afrobrazlians come from tribes in angola area and even some from the malawi area. You have to know who colonized which country and where they took them. Africa was colonized by many european countries.
@zakialionofjudah66147 жыл бұрын
Afric Network yes this is why i said a lot of Afro American not All the Afro american because we know that european colonized many country spain france etccc...and took them from different tribes and part of africa but i said that because Some People think that Origine Africa is only South Africa
