Their first album, The Sickness is their most nu metal sounding work. Their fourth album, Indestructible is my favorite by them mainly because almost every song on that album has an amazing guitar solo.

David Draiman (the lead singer) is Jewish, he studied at religious school for years, and he deeply learned how to be a Cantor IE a religious singer for prayers and for reading the Torah, he even studied in Israel for a couple of years. Mind you even though he's a proud Jew he isn't the most observant.

HOPEFULLY by now you have listened to alot more of DISTURBED and know as i do that they have several AWESOME!!! I have been playing their music for over 3 years. My kids have been playing them for years. There early music i didn't care for to much. But since they came out withTHE SOUND OF MUSIC. I have been a big fan. The way DAVID DRAIMAN SINGS THE SONG IS MUCH MORE POWERFUL AND WITH MORE FEELING THAN THE ORIGINAL. Iam 63 years old. And i am always willing to give new music a try. Most people dont keep an open mind when they hear music or a group that they feel are to gar out there. And they really are missing out on some great music. I always keep an poen mind when hearing music. You never know when you are going to come across a group that really are good. Yry checking out A REASON TO FIGHT. OR THE SOUND OF SILENCE. Both are outstanding songs
