I would fold it in half lengthwise and then in half or accordion fold the other way and dip dye it the same way. You might need a bigger bucket to get the fabric immersed in the water. I did a comforter cover for my daughter's room and used a plastic storage container to mix the dye in and use at least 2 packages of dye.
