The powder is so fine because it looks like its a pigment powder, it looks like its just the fine pigment powder and the bottle air puffs it onto the nail. To see if its just pigment, mix a tiny bit into water or alcohol, if the whole thing changes color and there’s no particles at the bottom its just pigment

Yes!! I also have a couple of "fairy dusters" from Mad Micas that are basically the same thing, filled with super fine mica powders, that I use for nails, resin crafts, soap making, etc. Those might be even better cuz they have a longer nozzle to help with more precise placement. These just seem kinda messy...

I also expected it to be watery. I think calling it a "solution" on the website also leads people to think it would be wet formula, since that term is most commonly used for liquids. I still think it looks pretty though!

These products are meant to be applied on a wet/ uncured layer of base gel. When happy with first layer you cure for 60 seconds then apply another thin layer of base gel and add second layer etc. cure again. When happy with the look add top gel coat and cure!! ❤

I think for me if I wanted this look with powders, I'd use a fluffy blending brush and dust the powder on, then encapsulate it with clear poly gel after. Less waste that way, and less residual dust in the air. Still trying to learn how to make press-ons(my skin is too sensitive, so I can't have the full-covers on my hands while using brush-on gel polishes. Haven't tried your polygels yet, so I'm holding out hope.). Also tempted by the Kiss kit you demo'd, but acrylic and I are very not friends, so I'd have to figure out how to do a press-on version.

When doing makeup, I am horrible at blending my contour in liquid form but blending with powder is easy for me. I feel like I’d be better with this than with gel polish so I’d actually love to try it! I also need practice with my ombré because I’m awful. It’s really mind blowing to me how they make a dispenser that sprays powder. I don’t understand and my mind is blown how that’s possible!!!

One thing I learned recently in doing my own nails, is to file the tip of the nails at an angle. Like hold your file vertically with the top of the file angled more towards you, and it gives a much better shape to the nails! Just thought I’d share!

So after watching your video Evie, here's my take on it really all you need is just to have two of these bottles so that you can mix up the two powdered colors that you want to use on your nails so having the bottles is amazing because like I said if you have a bunch of dip powder and you want to do ombre on your nails you can just pick then powders that you want to use, put them in the two bottles, and use them to "spray" on your ombre color. So really what they should be marketing and selling is the bottle.... Hint hint.... so maybe you can do that Evie ? Js....

My cousin tried the crystal nails ombre spray and she said that she had to lightly buff her nails like when you do dips or acrylics and that made them look better. Then she applied the top coat. She also said that it takes a lot of practice to get that perfect ombre look. Not sure if its worth going through all of that😉

easy to get rid of the gritty finish... top coat twice but turn ur hand upside down for 10 seconds before curing so gravity pulls the top coat away from the low points of the nail this method is a must for a couple different nail designs like the top coat before applying chrome powder since it likes to bring out any flaws when u apply the powder and for glitter nails that u want to encapsulate so they are shiny and smooth the same method would be used here so u dont see the grit just the ombre therefore not needing to file or buff the top like u would with dip bc u flipped them before curing

I know I said this before but Macartt came out with a peel off base. I didn’t want to wait for jello jello, to come from a foreign country. My Korean nail artists and halo taco both seem to use these types of products. I love them. I use full coverage “tips” cuz I’m bad at nails. The way I use it is for me to change polish colors every few days cuz I really like being creative. And I will need more pattygel. So sad to see your rhinestones are all gone but I got some from a while back.

I use ombré spray and it is dip powder in a spray form, you use the same steps as you would when using dip powder, file,buff and shape then topcoat. But i only use the bright colours 😊 and yes I’m also a qualified nail technician, nail artist 😊 Love your videos and I’m also like you I love to try new things This powder took me a while to use but once you know how it works you can make some pretty cool designs ❤

They definitely need some instructions on the site and bottle. But after watching you I think this might be the best method (if this product is made for gel): 1. apply the base coat. 2. (Optional) apply oil on your skin around your nail 3. Spray the powder 4. Wipe the fingers and skin around the nail with alcohol to clear the dust 5. Cure 6. Apply top coat and cure 7. Move on to next nail. So the single-nail lamp might work best for this. Alternatively instead of 6-7 above: 6. Cover already powdered nail with a towel then do steps 1-5 on the next nail (so no powder gets on other nail) 7. Cure 8. Repeat steps 1-7 for each nail, then apply top coat to all nails and cure If that still doesn’t work, is it made to use like dip (activator and whatnot so it can harden and you can file it)? You could try that instead. The shimmer color is a tip color I think; an alternative to the white but it looks cute how you applied it too.

I was also surprised it was powder, I assumed liquid too. Personally I would have tried the #4 as a 2nd coat on the pinkie, hoping to tone down that orange. Also I think that pearly one, was for an alternative to the white... Can you unscrew the bottles and put the wasted product back in? I mean if you were doing 1 color, then you could reuse and not waste... I appreciate you trying so we don't have to... I hope these weren't expensive... Thanks for sharing 😊

I probably would have done the white first then do the Coloured one to get a better ombré. I think too your angle in filming was a disadvantage, I think if you turned your hand to yourself like in the video it probably would’ve been easier. Still killed it though!! ❤️❤️

I only use gel and when I want ombré I have to buy the nails like that and make sure they are transparent to cure the gel. Do this is a great way to get the look to me.

I really love your Patty Gel. It applies so smoothly and you make it look effortless. As for the "spray", I always try to trust the process, but I'm really not a fan of this one. Before you pointed it out, I noticed there was a lot of excess on your paper towel. With such a small amount in the bottle to begin with, it didn't seem like it was worth it; at least not for the price you pay for the small bottles. I went on the CN website and I noticed the grainy look that the sample fotos have, even with a shiny top coat. It's a great novelty, but I don't think its practical. I'd rather use a soft brush and some quality dip powder. I think I'll pass on this one. Thanks for trying this out (so we don't have to LOL!). 💅💖💖💖

Can you take the top off to refill them? I think it is actually dip power. So maybe if you went in with the activator, before applying the top coat it would work better. And treat it more like a build up, so you didn't file off the color. I love a good ombre, & am horrible at it with dips. So maybe worth the purchase just so I could have the bottles to refill.

I would have tried thinner layers of the powder so like a really fine layer of the pink then the same of white etc and build it up that way instead of a thicker coats of one colour then the other. Also I’d love to see the pink with the shimmer

I’d maybe try a nice thick top coat, buff with a fine file/buffer then top coat again, should smooth the surface out but then you also run the risk of filing into the colour.
