Nice bit of winter fishing. Never been keen on that washing line rig though, see a swan once get tangled up with someone doing that & stretched out in their bivvy! Also, if your on the far bank, and on your own, ( I know you've got crew with you)with another line out as you were, your not anywhere near your rods. Get banned on my lake for that!

I didn’t think it was a good advertisement to be round the other side of the lake whilst you had rods fishing? Surely you should have been putting the washing line in first before putting the other rod in? Just my opinion.
