I love OMD and all but "computer error"?seems like part of the preshow shinanagans. Drummer is so sick. Also I love electronic music but it seems like they just sit they and hit play while the drummer rocks out. Sorry that's just my observation

well ... Martin on the left side plays the bass with one finger like they did in the 1980s. He also plays the organ sound. Paul on the right side plays the Melody - the Mellotron and all the Choir sounds that also were mellotron sounds. So no knob pressing. The song is heavily based on drums and - of cours - of Andys voice

martin studied fine arts and is a painter and real musician that can play saxophone and chordal keyboard technique(not just one- finger playing keyboardist, please check their old 80s live music youtube clips). due to modern computer technology, most music rely heavily on music software and we all know computer crashes often. think he's not a technological musician so that needs technician to work it out in this situation.

But when you look exactly other songs from this concert here on KZbin you can spot, that there are many loops automatically playing. I love OMD, but IMO they use a little bit too much of the modern technique (sequenzer and so on) live.

So many bands now use backing tracks, you can hardly see what parts they are playing. I think we should just encompass the fact that they are still on stage producing the music we love.
