First saw them in 1979 supporting Gary Numan and thought Orchestral what? Loved them from the first note I heard played and still my favourite band. They are just two really nice guys that put on a fantastic show. Love them.

Ha ha ha, I think you lot need a hearing test pronto! None of the names mentioned EVER won "best voice" in the 80's or at any other time for that matter. Really good voices of the 80's were the likes of Paul Young, Alison Moyet, Annie Lennox etc, people whose voices are recognised for their singing talents, this lot on here are certainly NOT thee voices of the 80's, some of their music was good but that does not make them worthy of the accolade "Best voice of the 80's", not by a long shot!

They were awesome back in the days and they are still awesome now. From staying in the industry for over 3 decades, to having songs that "lived" in music for decades, to the talent they had and still have and being able to sing live (which most of our little popclones these days can't either), OMD still has it all.
