The Gief vs. Dhalsim matchup is still bad in Omega, if not worse, for the following reasons. 1. Everyone gets increased speed on their forward and back dashes ... except for Zangief; he still has very slow walk and dash speed. 2. Almost all hard knockdowns are gone in Omega. Not only that, but he also has really poor okizeme overall and gets reset to neutral more often than his Ultra version, meaning that, especially against Dhalsim, he has trouble getting in, and when he does, he has to get in again. fewwef weffefwf Seriously, half of his "combo" videos' clips aren't even combos; just parries, armor cancels and the like, and then he does one move, like a Super or an Ultra. 0 creativity. Honestly, could people stop inflating his ego by praising his execution? Anyone can do what he does in 200 tries and upload it and people would think they're "desklike". Execution doesn't mean anything in combo making. I've seen a lot of actual combo makers with enormous amounts of creativity get overshadowed and overlooked because of him. They're out there putting work into finding the most obscure and entertaining combos only to get zero recognition, and his videos get front page stories instead. Either he puts in work like the rest, or stops entirely, because seeing him take the spotlight from people who deserve it is ridiculous and I'm sure they're sick of it as much as I am.

IDK what TOD means but the ultra combos as straight forward as they are, they are much better than v trigger. This was stated by a sf pro. I don't remember which one but most likely it was daigo.

@@tommymoodie2157 TOD means Touch of Death, or killing the opponent with one guaranteed combo. It seems they prevented this by making the damage scale down dramatically after a few hits, so the ultras barely do any damage at the end of a long combo. It's a design choice, so not necessarily good or bad, but personally I think it'd make more sense if ultras weren't scaled so much. I definitely agree they're better than v-triggers though.

im about to go in the train mode and test this out .but I just realized something the testee was in stand mode a real opponent would shake the stun a lot quicker. not to mention break thru reverse moves..none the less nice show though

They're combos for show, to be sure, but nobody can break out of a combo with reversals, you can only get out of a combo (not counting dizzy combos) if the opponent drops it.
