My favorite Omega watch! That blue scallop wave dial is so beautiful against the chrome bezel. Because it’s quartz it makes a perfect grab and go and I love the fact it’s got the jumping hour hand function like a GMT movement. In many ways this can be a one and done as it checks so many boxes. Congrats on acquiring it and enjoy! 🙌

Great video and I'll subscribe to your channel. This is a beautiful watch which I purchased about 4 years ago with the same falling-apart original box. I love how the dial colour varies between bright sunburst blue (in the sun) to a chilled out dull minimalist grey ( night time - going out to a bar or club). The watch is very versatile and I wear it as both a diver and dress watch. The mid-size seems to be a perfect fit for my 6.75 inch wrist. I own another watch which is 40mm and it wears too large for my wrist in my opinion.

You commented on a minimum power reserve for mechanical movements. Do you have any opinions on using watch winders? Opinions seems mixed, wonder your thoughts 💭 on this………

My opinion is mixed too. A watch winder would definitely solve my problem of watches with low power reserves, but finding the right one seems to be difficult. Plus, a good watch winder may cost hundreds of dollars, and if I have multiple mechanical watches with a low power reserve, then it may not make sense price-wise.

I agree. Then you have to get the correct corresponding turns per day not or stews the slip clutch…. So yeah can get complicated if more than one watch applies 😅

Hey, I have a 2255.80. They are great! Regarding your bezel, you should use dental floss under it. It does help a lot to degunk it without removing the bezel.

The 2265.80 is the 41mm version of this watch. There's also versions with different dial colours too.
