Thank you for the comment. The assembly is done but I am missing a tool to insert the new crystal. As soon as it is done I will post the second part

Great work so far on this watch. I am becoming a fan of these Mark II watches and their early 1970s look. There is a video on KZbin about a 1971 Mark II restored by Omega that's A+.

For sure it is a lovely model. Hope to finish it soon to show you the final product

Great video. Looking forward to the reassembly. The damage to the hands looks like they have been hitting each other when the chronograph is reset.

This is a good one as always. I have been wanting to find an Omega to restore and this is a great help. Oh, btw, what is the name of that website you mentioned that has data sheets for various watches?. I never thought they were even available except for perhaps a few Seikos.
@FrenchWatchCollector2 жыл бұрын
You can find them on cousin uk or other website. Just put the caliber number and tech sheet on google and you will find some

This is the second video with no end, I recommend you follow through with one project first instead of opening up several and seamingly finishing none...
@FrenchWatchCollector2 жыл бұрын
The project is finish but if I put the full disassembly and assembly the video will take more than an hour and a half. The second part of this série is coming at the end of this week and the mark III next week

I was upset as well ... so far no conclusion .... the title should reflect what it is ....

@FrenchWatchCollector My heart sank when I saw how this watch came to you. How did anyone damage the hands like that? I noticed on the disassembly there was no dust cover (or antimagnetic shield) over the movement, like there is on the Moonwatch. Did the MKII series not use them? Great video, thanks.

Thank you so much. No dust cover on the Mark II

is there going to be a part 2??
@FrenchWatchCollector2 жыл бұрын
Yes a part two is coming with a lot of delay that was not planned. There is a very interesting technical reason for this delay and that will be explained in the part teo

@@FrenchWatchCollector Thank you cant wait to see it I have a mark II that i sent to Omega back in February and now there telling me it could be the end of the year before i see it back

@@robb9209 I know a service with omega especially for vintage watches is crazy. You are not that far away from the issue I have on this watch. It will be explained in the second part.

Elles ne sont pas mal vos vidéos mais regardez vos "concurents", vous avez encore des efforts à faire... le brio est bien au-dessus... They are not bad your videos but look at your "competitors", you still have efforts to make... the brilliance is well above...
