Why not remove the balance from the beginning to protect the hairspring from gettin damaged by a falling screw or a flying spring ?

I wanted to remove the power first but I could not find the click spring with the chrono mechanism. But for sure it is better to remove it at the beginning.

@@FrenchWatchCollector the pallet fork would have blocked the system from unwinding, you can remove the power later then.

Salut, Je ne suis pas du tout horloger. Je suis ingénieur de formation mais l'horlogerie est une de mes passions. J'ai juste appris moi même avec des videos et des livres. J'apprends encore beaucoup et je pense être très loin d'un niveau d'horloger.

A bout the tools, what washing machine do you use ? Where to find it ? Most of the ones i’ve seen are on ebay from the states but it means they are 110v and often don’t ship to France.

I bought mine in Germany so it was OK for the voltage. It is an old Elma machine but it does the job for my hobby.

Salut. Tes vidéos sont bien réalisées et intéressantes...mais pourquoi l'anglais?? Ne trouves-tu pas qu'il y en a déjà suffisamment dans cette langue? Moi qui me réjouissais d'en trouver en français...enfin bon...si tu as honte de cette langue et préfères te faire noyer dans le flux des vidéos d'horlogeries en anglais...Si tu veux absolument toucher les anglophones met les sous-titres en anglais mais parle en français,je pense que tu auras plus d'abonnés...français en tout cas.

C'est juste une question d'audience. Trop peu d'audience francophone versus une audience anglophone. Si la chaine fonctionne bien je ferai sans doute une chaine 100% en français plus tard.

I for one are glad you do it in English as it would be unwatchable with subtitles as they would obscure the movement as you work on it.

Ben c'est sûr que si tu ne les fais pas en français tu risques pas d'avoir de l'audience francophone...c'est comme: qui a commencé de la poule ou de l’œuf...bon...tu fais ce que tu veux après tout,c'est ta chaîne...mais si tu prends en compte tous les abonnés aux chaînes relatives aux montres et en langue française....il y a du potentiel je trouve...

@@schnaps54 bien sur qu’il y a du potentiel en français mais ce qui est sur il y’en a plus en anglais. C’est pour cela que je commence avec une chaîne en anglais et je ferai sans doute une chaîne en français plus tard.
