Fine examination & fully agree with your conclusion. I've seen that level of "insider' frankenwatching" with movement parts from the same brand, but hardly so many elements from different references. Very interesting result, honestly. I can imagine a no-nonsense watchmaker putting it together and being happy because it just works.

Absolutely, wear it and enjoy it for what it is. As I understand, still OEM, but the parts are from varying years. And as you mentioned, no worries of a ding here and there if all were correct.

99.9% of people would care less if the components were from different years, so long as it's all genuine Omega and works well 👍 Us watch nerds are the only ones who would be concerned; and I agree with you, wear it and enjoy. Just don't try to sell it as something that it is not.

My father owned one with the same case shape, with a gold omega symbol, BUT no professional on the dial. Seamaster logo on the back.

All those parts are original, so as far im concerned I would consider it original and use it with pride. Selling it might be another story.

I guess the owner is more likely to keep the watch now, knowing it isn't that "Grail Speedy"... Every cloud has a silver lining!

Totally agree. I own a Tudor Prince Oysterdate "big rose" with all original parts but from different years and I don't give a f... about if it's a frankenwatch or what, it's a gorgeous watch for me and I enjoy it a lot

I understand original is worth more but theres nothing wrong with frankens at the right price. Is the watch well done or not and does the price reflect what you are getting. If so, enjoy. Rather a franken then in the trash bin.

Limited editions are rife these days. If all of the parts are made by Omega and it was mine I'd think of it as my personal limited edition and just enjoy.
