Me too, i actually don't even consider LoS 2 as a sequel anymore... i just like to think that Gabriel became Dracula and fucked the world and also, in that way you can connect it to older clastlevania games.

This was the hardest fight in the game for me. Mind you, I haven't played the DLC but the Forgotten One looks relatively easy. But Pan? He straight up throws everything you ever learn in the game at you. But I have to agree, he likely would have won the fight if he so chose.

He explained it himself. Blood must be spilt in order to open the path. Someone must die and have their blood spilled. So, he decided to test Gabriel one final time himself, and die in the process. He knew Gabriel would kill him.

@omegaevolution We fight him for two reasons, one is because the path wont upon unless the blood of a god is spilt on the platform. And two because Pan is trying to teach Gabriel about the upcoming fight against the final boss. Which you can see when the Final Boss shouts: "Didn't Pan teach you anything."

the wiki said that gabriel starting to show signs of darkness because he was starting to grow more violent with each killing of the lords of shadow, and he was trying to stop him, thats all i think

The Forgotten one is rather easy, even on Paladin mode. It takes little effort to dodge his attacks and you can exploit the distance between you and him to figure out what attack he will go for next. The red skeletons before him though (if you want 110% completion) is a pain in the ass and took me some tried before I defeated them.

Sadly, If I recall correctly (not sure if I do), your dark and light bars gets filled up over time, wich makes him a tad easy, even on Paladin difficulty. The hardest boss of all is still Satan in my eyes. This is not because Satan his hard itself, just the parts when you have hit him, he uses the red and blue circles, wich at the 2nd time is a real pain. 4 hits or so and youre dead. He is only hard if you try the challange on Paladin though, wich restricts how much you can heal yourself.

Not quite. Keep in mind this is the land of the dead, and that is where necromancers did stuff. the only way to open the path was by someone being sacrificed, thus "spilling blood"

@Kholdstarezero the blood of a god had to be spilt for Gabe to enter the final stage of the underworld. It was more like a ritual sacrifice. He knew Gabe wouldn't have killed him willingly unless provoked and fighting for his life....

@Kholdstarezero Pan was playing gabriel all along and i assume all the knights of the order were influenced and helped by pan once the knights gained the magic and relics Pan would kill the knights and take the relics for himself, forcing the knights to do that hardwork, whilst pan sit and watched
