That's because Tron is more popular and a fan favorite. She had her own spin-off game, appeared in MvC 2 and 3 and also in two RPGs, including this one. Plus, she's cute with a nice ass.

Crapbomb does it (hehe, nice name), and that's why about three fourths of their fanbase are rather pissed of, since as you mentioned, the fans also put work into the product. I can't truly speak for them, but I think that they were probably just lazy, and couldn't be bothered to finish the thing. And then they found a nice scape goat; us! =D...?
