It’s insane to me how few videos are up of a full - cutscene included - fight of ibis is without either being a meta curbstomp or a speed run world record. Glad to see an actual normal run that shows this bossfight the theatrics it deserves!

Definitely top 3 or 4 hardest boss in the game without using the meta of course. However on my 4th playthrough I found out that dual zimmerman shotguns and dual stun needle launchers are helpeful for achieving S-Ranks for 80% of the missions.

@@OmegaPrimusYeah for sure. I’ve been mainly doing double songbirds double harris rifles for most of my S ranks, sometimes exchanging Zimmermans too

Based comment. Been trying to show this game off to my friends without showing OP builds and this vid is great at showing what fights are really like for players who just want to play their way.

Because too few people have played the game, apparently 3 million people bought it, but in steam less than 50% of the people who owns the game have complete many of the basic achievements and I think that only 30% or less people has defeted this boss.

my first success was with a heavy biped, twin linear rifles, twin 6 cell plasmas, the AB thrusters, the the highest regen power i could fit, and just barely scraped by...gratz on cooking it with that xD

Had the corporations mass produced many of the ibis series ACs they found, or worst the IB-07: SOL 644, having to fight a lot of mass produced ibis series on the corporations’s sleeves would’ve been an utter nightmare considering these things deal coral damage.
