The sedan was first unveiled in the U.S in September 2015 for the 2016 model year. This particular sedan received a lot of appreciation globally, specially in Pakistan for its breakthrough shape.
Toyota Corolla's 11th generation sedan was substantially larger than its predecessor and has had various shapes / variants globally. This particular variant is a facelift and still available at Toyota showroom in Pakistan despite a newer generation available across the world.

You missed points for civic. 1. Civic both front doors have auto power windows but Corolla have only one driving side 2. Civic booth front doors have hand sensors opening doors but Corolla have only one side. 3. Civic have function to auto back opening trunk boot system if you forgot your car remote inside the boot by mistake. 4. Civic have a function on left side back seat to pull the lid and open the boot in case of emergency when your battery dead. 5. Civic have an Electric sophisticated touch button on driver side to open the trunk but Corolla have old manual lid. 6.civic have Electric auto fuel opening system but Corolla have manual system. 7. Civic have also ac ventilator on back side but Corolla has totally free from this luxury. 8. Civic has break hold system witch is very practical but not in Corolla. 9. Civic have Electric hand break system but not in Corolla. Civic have auto one touch sunroof tilting feature but Corolla have not. Civic have automatic on/off parking light system by remote if you leave still On both lights and lock the car by remote it will turn off automatically and will on again automatically when unlocked car by remote. 10. Civic is a very luxury and practical concept car its slogan is man maximum and machine minimum so there is no comparison between literal civic and illiteral Corolla. There is a great difference between both machines.

1.Corolla has LED auto leveling head lights 2.It has Rain sensors 3.It has a sensor for smart entry whch is better than the hard button of civic 4.It has Yokohama tires 5.It has actual side skirts 6.It has rear folding seats 7.It has a glitch free infotainment screen 8.BTW.....It also has one touch auto sunroof tilt 9.It has Reverse link system (folding down of mirrors when in reverse). 10.It's mirrors fold and unfold automatically on locking and unlocking respectively. 11.It has Paddle shifters which alone make the car alot of fun to drive. 12.The car literally has 7 reading lights in the cabin. 13. IT also has a sport mode which doesn't affect performance tgat much, but increases redline from 6250 to 6500 rpms. More features in corolla for less money......Now that is a good value for money

Only thing you missed is that rear back floor of civic has a bump which makes difficult for 5 people to sit together..but corolla have almost flat back floor..it means corolla gets another point :)

Civic has just ABS and EBD while corolla has ABS, EBD, and BA which is a very useful feature in Pakistan. Corolla has also bigger fuel tank 55l tank and civic has 49, Corolla has also paddle shifter standard, Corolla has also speed auto lock door at 20km/h. Corolla has rear USB charging port, Corolla has vanity mirrors with lamps on both passenger and driver, Corolla gives you floor mates as standard, it also has a middle roof lamps as well, it has also a glove box lamp, Corolla has also a feature called Toyota connect which gives you an important details about your car, Corolla has also vivid interior while civic has a dull one. Honestly, Corolla is a mile ahead of civic. The only advantage civic has is its modern-looking dashboard.

Arslan Ahmad civic is better (i own both cars so im not being biased) only in sport with trac off. Or eith a cheap 10-20$ fuel additive or shell vpower civic wins in standstill otheriwse in top speed handling braking and rolling races civic wins no matter what😁. If h really want preformsnce just add some bolt ons or turbo it . Corrola is great if u inly own one car since its an all rounder . Civic is going into the sporty sedan category . Thats y id say if u arent very rich or ur budget id tight go for corrola otherwise go for civic

Good Vlog. Both cars are well past their prime. Some current generation Hyundais ( i30s, Elantras ) and the KIA Cerrato and the Mazda 6 are just as good if not better. They are underrated but good cars. SUVs ka zamana hai. Sedans are on the wane.

Dear Omar very nice review. I am a fan and follow your channel. A slight correction you may like to add. You say at 17:57 that Civic has ABS with EBD and Corolla just has ABS, but Corolla has ABD with EBD and also Brake Assist (BA). Second thing is that Corolla's 2ZFR-FE engine is 138 horse power, not 128 horse power as you mentioned at 5.30. Third thing is that Grande is quicker than Oriel when it comes to acceleration. Kindly also give comparison of cabin noise. Yes luggage tray is provided free of cost in Grande, but floor mats are also given in all variants by Toyota. Both cars are good and have their own charm. I also like Civic in many ways and intend to buy it, but wait till a Facelift is done or it is introduced with 2.0 liter engine as in North American markets.

Agreed except the civic isnt slower . I own both cars and can tell u without sport mode and traction on and no torque braking and normal fuel. Yes the grande wins by a small amount. But if the things mentioned are fixed then the civic wins . Also the civic always wins in rolling races . But its stupid to even talk abt this since these are normal family sedans and racing is stupid especislly in pakistan since theres alot of traffic and the roads suck. But if u really want to race i reccomend u get a civic (superior handling and braking) and add bolt ons or a cheap 10-20$ fuel additive and win most races. Or simply buy the turbo and use shell v power 😁.

omar bhai u are wrong about corolla , u must correct according to Indus corolla web site., Grande 1.8L is 138 HP not 120 as u said .. 173 Nm torque .It have 7 speed CVT-i with paddle shift..It have ABS, with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake assist as web site says for grande not Altis 1.6

Not an expert review as on some points he did not gave points to civic when he was sitting in both cars and he also misses some features of civic I.e brake hold and vsa and speed limits etc also about meter and auto sunroof with smart entry and driver seat adjustment and fuel average depends upon how you drive and we dont consider the average on spot but we calculate it and about charging docs in civic dashboard could be extended in any corner of the car and he also missed corolla charging docs under the arm rest so in comparison civic is better then corolla at last u should have done some research and should have driven the car for a week this is not a review or comparison

Salaam, Dear I do work on countryside and almost drive 200 km from metro area towards rural area thrice or 4 times in a week, and some times I go for 7 days which means 400 kms with return in day I drive.... and some rural parts of Sindh have uneven surfaces, so for me will be interior comfort, drive, safety and fuel mileage will be set on a primary level... else I will get in fatigue, when I Come back from work... so now what you recommend which car shall I go with either Honda Civic or Grande 1.8 , to the atmost budget of 28K

Sir if you buy Grande 2016 onwards then you get alot of more features. Civic 9 generation is not as good as Grande but, if you want pick and speed then Civic 9 Generation Manual is the best choice
