you don't have to wait for the hair to dry in the rollers after dipping. Just make sure its cool by dipping it in cold water. Once synthetic hair is cool it is permanently set in its shape after dipping :-)

Set it in boiled water (above 200 degrees is best) and leave submerged for 30 seconds. then remove it and submerge it in cold water for another 30 seconds. the curls are now set and the rollers can be removed immediately - no need to wait until they dry. Then hang the hair to air dry which will only take about 30 minutes :-)

Tiffany Monique I do think in some aspects, it is imperative to treat synthetic hair like human hair, as it can be helpful. Of course you can curl this hair before installing, but be careful when trying to separate the curls. I've done this enough, so I'm comfortable dipping the hair 😊💖 I hope this helps.

I wouldn't pre dip to achieve this particular style. The pieces would be too large for versitility, and even if you pre dip different size you'll wind up with a vastly different look than what was achieved in this video. Pre dipping in many cases is not interchangeable with dipping in a cup. To achieve a particular style it's often one method or the other.

Love love love the color mix. I'll keep that in mind if I ever do loose hair crochet braids again. I find the loose hair is a pain the ass: flexi rods, tangles, dipping in water, using products on plastic, synthetic hair to get it to work. But I could feel this as a wig, though. Thanks for the inspiration!

You can always re-curl hair that has been set/curled with hot water. Sometimes perm rods are better than flexi rods, so depending on the hair, think of which might be best =]

Imani H. no problem! Unfortunately, most Kanekalon hair/fibers cannot revert back to its original texture when it is exposed to heat, whether in the form of hot water setting or by means of heat tools. It's such a bummer! 😣 hope this helps.
