Right...cell max with a million defense 30% Dr and guard still gets killed on some fights...I had Broly take over 100k damage with 86% damage reduction and guard with almost a million defense. I get the same feeling from this Broly that I did from STR jiren but let's see what happens. With the way the new LRs passive is worded it seems someone not so smart is making calls lol

Remember @ToonRami, they increased both the atk and def Broly gets on super, because “greatly raises atk” means 50% and “raises def” (“or raises atk”) all by itself is 30%. When you have “raises atk and def” it’s only a 20% raise, but now it is 30%, so he should stack a great deal faster. Plus he is gaining 20 max levels which will boost his stats even more. I just gold orbed him on the trio Saiyans banner (didn’t pull them though) and I am excited to see how he cooks up 👍🏻

You could always place him slot 2, so he could perform the supers (on average 2-4 stacks maybe 5 if you are luckier), and proc his DR, and considering his +260% passive stats (for comparison, our goat TEQ Gohan gets +158%) I’m sure he will be able to keep up.

The 26% is multiplicitive, and this guy can super 4-5 times a turn, he's about as good as if not a little better than teq gohan. 44%-59% dr is similar to guard, and while he's only stacking 30% defense per super vs gohans 50% he will be doing more supers than gohan, plus he has a much higher start of turn boost and about 1000 more base defense stat

I really hate all these conditional passives for Dokkan Fest but at least I would be at ease if he had guard when facing “Pure Saiyans”, “Hybrid Saiyans”, or “Movie Heroes”. Soooo without the guard he should have greatly stacking defense. He has lower chances to super than TEQ Ulthan and even he can fail 2 or 3 supers. Ion know. Feels like they didn't want to make him busted so they did the absolute minimum possible, making him only really useful against very specific enemies and unrunnable in high-end content outside of that. It was so easy to make him strong, but they really, really made sure not to do it. I mean, he'll hit like a truck, but he won't take a hit against, say, villains. edit: sad, really, because I really like the unit and animations, and was really hoping to be able to use him in more than just events against goku, gohan, broly, or vegeta.

I wouldn’t say he’s busted, unfortunately. 😔 Under the right conditions he can be if you’re lucky RNG wise, but in most other places where you’ll want to use him, Broly will be a liability. Terrible SoT defense for an 2024 EZA and he stacks far too slowly. They wouldn’t even give him baseline 36% DR. Why 26%??? We’ll have to see how he performs first. But as it stand right now, all that’s being added is 30 stones.

The reason for 26 is because of the Japanese hiragana. 2 meaning ‘Bu’ and 6 meaning ‘ro.’ Bu-ro (ly). Just like they do with 59 with Goku and 58 with Gohan.
