I hv travelled a lot to Nepal on Pan n voter id,but I can speak Nepali fluently.This was bfore I had Indian Passport.The problem isn’t with ID the problem is when u can interact in Nepali the Nepal border police automatically assume ur a refugee so they haress for money.I had a incident at Nepali airport when I was caught with 1L Indian currency in 500 notes.500 Indian currency is banned in Nepal.That time I had my Indian Passport.So I had an argument with Nepali Airport police.He wanted a Bribe from me which I didn’t want to gv.I told him if he wants he can tk me to Nepali Police station but bfor that I want to call the Indian Embassy.Ofcourse I was little scared.But at last I paid him 2000 Nepali currency as a bribe,as my flight was about to leave.Nepali police know that there r 2 kind of Tibetan living in India.Tibetan who hv Indian Citizenship who can speak Nepali,n other Tibetan who cannot speak Nepali n r not citizens.So my suggestion is tk PAN card or voter card or Driver Liscence or any kind of Employee card if ur working in any kind of Indian company like a Call Centre.Dont tk Yellow book in Nepal n confidently speak Hindi.N don’t tk 500 currency notes.I hope this helps u.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
